Hey! Actually I had the same problem and I tried to make both the procedures for "Game cannot be opened" and “App is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash”, but unfortunately the problem persists, I also tried to install the file a pair of times but it makes no difference :(
you can play it on browser instead! just search the game on your browser at itch.io's site, there will be a browser version of the game popping up the first thing you see saying "run game" .. I think you will be able to play it then.
I deleted my other comment to say that I ended up figuring it out! all I did was download both versions (bought the full blessing and public ones) and just launched the one I wanted to play and...it...worked? don't ask why it worked, but it did lool may not be the solution for someone else but that's how it opened/played for me!

Well I'm not sure if it's the good ending or if there's a bad ending but I presume it's the good ending as long as you refuse to call him a monster, or maybe not idk only so far have gotten that ending and one where I did call him a monster on the first go and got a different ending.😅

That's right! Whenever you call him a monster you get a different ending. And if you don't, you get the True Ending ☺️
